New Camera!!

So we bought a new digital camera yesterday. I am so excited to start using it so expect more updated pics to be showing up!

The Dentist Pt.2

So I took Jaydyn to another dentist I was referred to for his sedation work and my doctor didn't send his info over so I had to reschedule the work again because it took to long to get his info in.

We went to the Riverwoods Surgical Center this morning at 10 am to get his work done. At 12:30 they finally took him back. It took about 45 minutes and the Dr. came out to let me know everything went fine. I was able to be back there when he woke up so he didn't freak out. After checking him over I took my drugged little boy home. He is awake now and his tummy hurts from the anestesia but other than that he is good. He is kinda wobbly so I have to help him up to go to the bathroom but his mouth isn't hurting him at all.

Tomorrow Nik goes in for his 2 cavities and then I am finally done!

The Dentist

So I took the kids in for their 6 month check-up and boy was I surprised. Nikolus had 2 cavities, which isn't bad for him but Jaydyn had 8!! How do they get that many?? Granted it's a battle to get him to brush and floss but sheesh.

I took him in yesterday for his first set of appointments and it didn't go so well. We are lucky they didn't kick us out. The first time he had a cavity filled they put him to sleep for it and the last time they gave me a prescription that made him groggy and he fell asleep during the work. This time they didn't, I'm assuming since he is older they figured he wouldn't need it but needless to say he does. They ended up re-scheduling our appointment so that they can do the IV sedation for him and do all the work at once. We go in tomorrow for that. Wish us luck!

I guess Jaydyn takes after me with the dentist. Most of you know that I hate the dentist but the last time I went in I had a panic attack and it didn't go so well, and that was only the cleaning being done. I was told I needed my wisdom teeth out but I remember what Jill looked like and how she felt and I've been putting it off. My luck it will only be worse than what I'm imagining!

7 Years!!

Adam and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Monday the 1st! It's amazing at how fast it has gone by. Sure doesn't seem like it's been 7 years.

Nik is 9!!

Today is Nik's birthday! He is now 9. We just want to let him know how much we love him and are so happy he is a part of our family!

First Blog Attempt!

So this is my first attempt at blogging. Not quite sure what I'm supposed to do? From looking at everyone else's pages I guess mainly just keep everyone up to date on our lives! Not too much happening with us at the moment. We are pretty boring!

Ok so to update everyone: Nik is finishing the third grade in 2 weeks! He is very excited for summer to be here! We have a pool at our condo so both boys are looking forward to being able to go swimming every day.

Jaydyn will be starting kindergarten in the fall and is super excited. He loves the idea that he can now go to school with Nik! He just lost his first tooth yesterday and is quite proud of it!

I am no longer working. I stay home with the boys all the time now and am slowly adjusting to it :) I love being able to be home with them but after awhile I start talking like Spongebob and I know I need a break from the house for a little bit!
