Happy Birthday Jaydyn!

Jaydyn turned 7 today. I can't believe how quick he's grown up on me. I remember it seeming like yesterday I was pregnant with him!

It was pajama day at school today so he was excited to wear his pj's to school on his birthday!




We had Grandma Janet, Nana, Tyler, Steven, Steven's girlfriend Emily, Ian, Emily, Brock & Sawyer over for dinner and cake!

A little remodeling...

We painted and changed some things around in our living room. We'll be doing the bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen too but here is the living room done. The small TV will be moved eventually when our projector gets back from being fixed, it was broke when they shipped it to us.

The paint on the walls was supposed to be a light shade but the machine screwed it up but we like it.

Cornbelly's

On Saturday we took the kids to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point with our friends Ian & Emily and their 2 boys. The kids had a lot of fun playing on the jumping pillow, in the corn hut and the corn maze. They were definitely dirty afterwards!

Nik is in Band...

So Nik came home last week and informed us he was now in band. Apparently they changed it at his school so you can join in 5th grade. He was given the choice to play either a flute, clarinet, trombone and 1 other little one. Guess what his choice was?

Yep you guessed ut - the trombone. When he brought it home and practiced for us it sounded like he was trying to give it a raspberry but he's been able to get sound now. Everyone is welcome to come over anytime for a concert!

8 Years

Today was our 8 year anniversary. It has gone by so fast! I look back at our wedding pictures and can't believe the changes. I am so thankful to have met Adam and that he loved me as much as I love him. I can't wait to grow old with him and be able to be one of those cute old couples holding hands in the mall or sitting on our porch together.

Payson Lakes, First day of School and our new addition!

So I haven't posted anything for a while so figured I'd get caught up. First we spent a weekend at Payson Lakes with the Raymond's at the end of July - we had a blast other than sleeping! We took Bella with us and since ducks and squirrels are her mortal enemy it was interesting to watch her surrounded by them lol At night we couldn't leave her outside cause she would have barked all night so we brought her in the tent with us...bad idea. She could not find a comfy spot and kept stepping on all of us. Needless to say it was a very long night for all of us!






School started for the boys on the 19th. Jaydyn is in 1st grade and Nik is in 5th. They both love it! Adam & I start the fall semester on Sept 2nd! It will be very weird going back to school but it's for the best.



On Aug. 22nd Adam's brother Steven returned home from his mission to Japan! It was so great to see him and have him home safe! The boys love Steve - he is so good with them and they love playing games or wrestling with him.

And last, about a week ago we got a new addition to our family! A friend of ours rescued a cute little mini dachshund that was almost starved to death. We got her from that friend. She is slowly putting on weight and is the cutest, most cuddly dog ever! I'm her favorite person and when I'm at work she wanders the house lost lol Bella and her are not quite friends yet but we're getting there.
