Working out!

So Adam has been wanting to get in better shape so he can go on all the hikes his dad and brothers go on. Since he smokes he has had a harder time with the hikes. Both of us have also gained a few pounds over the last couple years :( Adam's youngest brother Steven comes home from his mission in August and Mike has been planning some hikes for this summer so our biggest motivation is being able to keep up with the boys and do more with them as well as go on all these family hikes/camps that have been eluding us recently.

So Adam has been watching the infomercial about this P90X program. What it does is changes the work-outs so your body never gets the plateau effect. They say that if you follow the work-outs exactly and they include some meal plan ideas that in 90 days you will look and feel great. So we decided to give it a try. We just received it today and decided to start it Monday. We get 1 splurge meal a week and 1 day off from exercising a week. We chose Sunday as our day off and haven't decided on a meal yet for our splurge. If we know we are going on a date then we'll choose that night so we are just playing it by ear for now.

We are supposed to do our before and after pics but I am dreading that! I hate pics!

We will also be starting our own blog for just this program so when I set it up I'll link it from this blog so if anyone is interested they can watch our progress.
